What does a first session with you look like?
My clients will experience my utmost respect for each individual from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds. Being mindful of how cultural aspects can influence one's life. I will continue to create a safe environment and highlight individual strengths. Shed light on growth opportunities; to help clients to learn the necessary coping skills during life's biggest transitions.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Most effective method in my experience is Cognitive Behavior Therapy alongside with humanistic/person Center therapy. Depends what the client needs are, I also utilize Solution Focus and/or Narrative Therapy. Depending on what the client need, other modalities are used as well.
