What does a first session with you look like?
Medication management works in conjunction with psychotherapy to provide meaningful and long-lasting results. I am experienced in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses. I am here to answer your questions regarding medication, diagnosis, and treatment plan. I will listen to your suggestions and recommendations regarding your care. I want you to feel heard and seen at the end of every session.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize traditional and integrative medicine. Integrative medicine is an approach to healthcare that combines traditional medications with lifestyle modifications, alternative medicines, and mind-body interventions. In focusing on the whole person and the underlying causes for depression or anxiety, we can develop a comprehensive plan to increase quality of life. Due to current tele-health limitations, I do no prescribe any controlled substances including stimulants, benzodiazepines, or hypnotics.
