I first developed an interest in psychology at the age of 13. I remember telling my parents I was going to be a child psychology. I loved children and wanted to help those children who were less fortunate than myself. I began my career working with adolescents in a group home at the age of 20 as a milieu counselor. I was their to support the residences during times of high stress as well as assist them in completing their daily responsibilities. I graduated from Bridgewater State College in 1995 and then continued with my education at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where I earned my Masters and two advanced graduate certificates. One as a School Psychologist (2004) and the other as a Mental Health Counselor (2009). I have been a School Psychologist for 17 years, working with children and their families for various reasons, behavioral, emotional, and academic. I then embarked on earning my doctoral degree in the summer of 2016. I completed my degree in May of 2020. I currently hold a doctoral degree in School Psychology.
