Under Clinical Supervision

Stephanie Campbell, Licensed Master Social Worker, 6676 is practicing under the supervision of Dr. Olivia Skalski (Connecticut, Psychologist, 4291) at Resilience Lab.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

I find my true strength in listening and connecting with others. My passion for this profession has been fueled by the experience of seeing so many people grow and heal through adversity, trauma, and the stresses of everyday life.. My hope for you is to experience the transformation that I have seen in the clients that have come before you.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

You’re used to supporting others. I create an environment of compassion, understanding, and encouragement, where you can feel heard and be supported for yourself. Drawing on my years of experience and training, I'll help guide you as we face past trauma, current concerns, and future anxieties and find a more meaningful and peaceful life.

What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?

1. I listen closely to my clients, giving them my undivided attention and regard. 2. I create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that invites my clients to share freely. 3. I always remain non-judgmental, understanding that we each have our own experiences and journeys.

Work History

As a therapist, I've spent over 10 years working with individuals and groups in all kinds of settings. I've provided in-home therapy for teens and their families to improve communication and strengthen the family. I have also worked in community programs providing individual and group therapy to teens and adults struggling with substance abuse. Regardless of the setting, my work focuses on helping clients in individual and group sessions identify triggers, set boundaries, and work on overcoming anxieties. My approach is person-centered, so I tailor the work to your needs and goals. We recognize your strengths and build on them with cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and other modalities. I’m now a member of Resilience Lab, where I have access to the resources and support I need to provide the best possible care for my clients. Resilience Lab is the largest and most diverse community of clinicians working collaboratively to produce better outcomes and improve quality mental health access.
