What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
Everyone experiences and sees the world differently which creates each unique individual. Sometimes, what we experience doesn't always line up with how we want our lives to be or how others think it should be. This can lead to different feelings and emotions that can affect the way we live our lives. Anxiety, depression, loss of direction, and low self-esteem can manifest and prevent living life to the fullest. I believe that every person should have the opportunity to live their best life possible. My goal is to provide a safe, warm environment allowing for a positive and empowering experience to build upon skills you already have. The hardest part is the first step; asking for help. I welcome you to reach out via email or phone call if you wish to explore therapy. I will never judge a situation but instead, encourage you to find the success and opportunity you need. I hear you.
How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
Each individual is unique so each plan will be unique. Starting at the first session we will begin to explore the concerns that led you to therapy and then develop a plan that will best support your progress. This plan will include the goals of therapy.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I really make sure to listen and understand what my clients are experiencing and what their concerns might be. I use many different techniques making sure to match the technique to what the client responds best to and what will best support them. At the first session, we will begin to explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate way to support your progress.

Work History
I am a Licensed Social Worker with WAYS and have strong experience working with children. I favor a holistic approach with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindful listening to create that safe space where you will feel heard. I will be there with you to overcome difficulties and elicit change, taking it one step at a time. The majority of my experience thus far has been working with children, however I like to work with all age groups.
