What does a first session with you look like?

Clients will leave sessions with tools to support personal development and motivation to maintain the behaviors that support development overall.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

My favorite skills to use are mindfulness based although CBT and Motivational Interviewing are part of my skill set as well. Because of my history as a licensed massage therapist and yoga teacher many of the interventions I use are somatic (body) based and often enhance the cognitive processes that therapy provides.
