What does a first session with you look like?
When we meet, we will spend some time getting to know each other so that you can feel comfortable in our therapy session. We will discuss options, what you have tried to do in the past, what's worked, and what hasn't. We will discuss goals that you hope to accomplish, and how I can help guide you through this process to accomplish the goals that we set in the initial sessions.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
The treatment modalities that I am most comfortable with is cognitive behavioral therapy, CBT. I also believe that listening to your story is very valuable, so I hope you enjoy talking about yourself, where you would like to be, and how I can be helpful getting you to that point.
