What does a first session with you look like?
Expect to be met with compassion while dealing with the challenges you find yourself in. We will chart a clear goal oriented direction together, where you will be able to see how our interventions are helping you grow. I will give you a non judgmental open ear, to allow you to not only vent your feelings , but help you see that you posses the inner strength to overcome your obstacles.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
As a trained clinical social worker, I utilize a holistic assessment and approach to treat mental health issues. We will uncover together any social, environmental, or biological factors that are leading to the stress, and I will guide you to the appropriate treatment plan. We will utilize an array of treatment models including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
