What does a first session with you look like?
During our first session, we will discuss what you would like to gain from your time in therapy. I will also complete a full psychosocial assessment to better understand you as a person. We will create goals for our time together. I will provide empathetic listening, thoughtful questions, and expert clinical assessment skills, while we focus on your strengths, personal growth and solutions to help you live a life you love.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am formally trained in family systems theory, neurolinguistics, cognitive behavioral theory, trauma-focused cognitive processing, mindfulness and yoga. I currently am focused on cultivating my practice in positive psychology and ecotherapy. While these are areas of training and expertise, I continue to learn and grow in my professional practice.
