What does a first session with you look like?

You, the client can expect understanding, empathy, and guidance to help you change. It is not telling you how you should live, but for you to make that choice. Be open to new ideass and suggestions. Collaborate on defining your goals for therapy. Recognize what contributes to your personal distress and following through on change that eliminates or reduces that distress.
