What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including Anger, Anxiety, Behavioral Issues, Depression, LGBTQIA+, Life Transition, Postpartum / Pregnancy, Sexual Abuse, Stress and Trauma / PTSD.

What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?

Are you stuck? Having difficulty in your relationships? Do you not understand why you or others feel and act the way they do? Being a therapist has made me realize that all of us — whether a young child, an adolescent, or adult — have basic needs to feel seen, heard and understood and to have connections and meaningful relationships with others.
