The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. Clients are guided and supported as they work through their unique mental health challenges – and, along the way, shown the life-changing power of therapy.

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. It is my personal mission to offer an empathic, compassionate, non-judgmental approach to work through life s transitions.

Susanna s passions include helping adults with specialties in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress management, life transitions, and women s issues. Helping those who are struggling with a personal loss is close to her heart due to personal losses in her own life. She is a member of the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association and American Association of Christian Counselors. Susanna received her Master s Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Susanna has over 20 years of community-based mental health professional experience. In addition to providing individual therapy, Susanna worked as a clinical supervisor and manager of an outpatient facility. Her experience covers a wide range of ages from college students to retirees. Life provides ups and downs for all of us. It is an honor and a privilege for Susanna to walk with you on your journey to gain new perspectives and coping skills as you walk through your journey of healing.
