What does a first session with you look like?

Everyone has their own story and I strive to meet my clients where they are and help them work toward healing, and their best life. I am ready to listen, and together we can form a therapeutic alliance that encourages empowerment, and taking charge of your journey; both in our sessions and in your life. I try to serve as a guide, helping my clients make the changes that they want to make to bring enrichment and positivity to their lives.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervision by Debra Castillo, LPC-S and I practice primarily from a cognitive behavioral model but I am eclectic and do incorporate other modalities such as reality therapy, and brief solution-focused interventions. I look for the best fit for my specific client. I believe that how a person thinks will affect how they feel, and I work with my clients to gain insight into their thoughts, and the feelings that accompany them.
