What does a first session with you look like?

The first session will be to complete assessment and obtain background and information. You will also have the opportunity to discuss with me what brings you to therapy. We will discuss the goals you want to achieve from therapy. During your sessions I will discuss different coping skills and ways you can work on the challenges you are experiencing so that you can have a more filling life.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I use cognitive behavioral therapy to learn to modify behaviors and change negative thoughts to positive. I also utilize Narrative treatment method so that you can tell your story. I use Psycho- Education, Mindfullness and various coping techniques.
