What does a first session with you look like?
An opportunity to explore their reasons for engaging with therapy, through questions about needs, wants, and boundaries. Clients can expect that I will meet them where they are at and move at the pace we set together.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
While my methodologies are based in CBT and DBT, the work I do with clients includes a variety of tools dependant upon the needs of the individual client. This can include: somatic interventions, mindfulness activities and practices, journaling, letter writing, art and making.
