What does a first session with you look like?
After our first session, I want us both to take with us a sense of hope in starting this journey and our new relationship. Therapy is a process and I will do my best to find something for you to take with you every session. After a little while together, I hope that you will feel empowered to start to enjoy the benefits of the hard work you've done.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy which examines our thinking, the roots of our current mindset and how we can start to see the connections between our thoughts and feelings. I have enjoyed tremendous success with this modality. In addition, I am always learning new techniques to help my clients and I would love to discuss any treatment tools you are interested in. It is my goal in every session to have something you can take from our time and apply in your life as soon as you're willing and ready.
