What is your style/approach to therapy?
My training include as follows; Creative art therapy, Behavioral therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT, Motivational interviewing, Person-centered psychotherapy, Trauma focused therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Narrative therapy, Emotion-focused therapy, Mindfulness-based therapy, Christian faith-based therapy & Brief psychotherapy.
What does a first session with you look like?
After initial session, client can expect to to identify counseling goals, and learn how to process feelings and thoughts by expressing and verbalizing them. Also, clients will learn grounding techniques and mindfulness in following sessions in order to manage stress/anxiety better. Art therapy can be offered upon request as well.
