What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I am Dr. Taijah Davis, a licensed professional counselor from Kennesaw, Georgia. In 2019, I obtained my Ed. D. in Professional Counseling and Supervision from the University of West Georgia. I would consider my areas of expertise to include working with adults with issues concerning anxiety, depression, per-maratial, couples/marriage counseling, self-worth, ADHD, career counseling, and family therapy. When working with clients I utilize a CBT approach in tandem with eclectic therapeutic techniques to provide them with an approach which works best for them. I believe therapy needs to be a collaborative effort and I work jointly with my clients to get them in a place where they feel good about themselves and the future.
