What does a first session with you look like?
I truly attempt to get to know the client's individual needs and expectations of what they are looking to gain in their sessions. I provide the style of therapy which works best for the client, based on the client's needs and my clinical expertise. With all my clients, I create a space of safety and strive to form a collaboration, which in turn, allows us to work together toward the client's healing process.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize various treatment methods based on my client's needs. Person-Centered, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Strength-Based, Trauma Focused, EMDR, Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), and CBT are just some of the treatment modalities that I use in my sessions.
