What does a first session with you look like?
My role as a psychiatry nurse practitioner is to help you identify options and expand your personal insight through open, focused discussions, and strength-based disclosures. My goal is to work with you to evaluate options that will stimulate positive movement toward optimal wellness and reduce anxiety, alleviate depression, to promote self-awareness and motivation.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I believe in meeting people where they are, working closely with them to achieve their goals emotionally, and helping them build better and healthier relationships with family and friends. Most importantly, I teach them to love and see the value in themselves.
