What does a first session with you look like?
Clients will take away insight into their behavior, coping strategies to help cope with stressors, and will learn ways to live a more fulfilling life. Additionally, each client is unique and different. Tendra will ask the client their therapeutic goals, and help the client work towards them.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Tendra's approach combines client-centered, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior, solution-focused, mindfulness, feminist theory, psychodynamic, acceptance & commitment, non-trauma focused (client does not talk about the trauma in detail), and trauma focused (the client talks about their trauma in detail).
What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?
