What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Grief / Loss, Military / Veteran, Stress and Trauma / PTSD.

What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?

As a 60-year-old woman, I have a variety of lived experiences that will help inform the path to wellness we will take together; I am a veteran, mother of a special needs child, a survivor of sexual trauma, and I am adopted.
