What does a first session with you look like?
Clients have described Teresa as genuine and caring. Teresa provides a non-judgmental environment where clients are comfortable exploring different issues. She believes that everyone should have the opportunity to feel, experience and process typical human emotions and struggles in a safe environment. During the initial session Teresa is very detailed about the therapeutic relationship, confidentiality and the therapeutic process. She strongly believes that trust is the foundation of a successful therapeutic relationship.

In sessions, Teresa, uses a variety of techniques from several modalities of therapy, such as, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
