What does a first session with you look like?
Our first session consists of getting to know your backstory and your goals in therapy. After the first session, I follow your pace of comfort on what you want to discuss and what you want to focus on! My goal is to always be walking with you as your goal is the priority!
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I enjoy utilizing acceptance and commitment therapy to help individuals become more resilient in difficult emotions. Cognitive behavioral therapy is another type of therapy I enjoy implementing as it can be useful with many different issues. CBT helps challenge unhelpful thinking, identifying the root of the thought, and choosing to rework the original thought.
