What does a first session with you look like?
My mission is to help you. During the initial psychiatric evaluation, you will receive a thorough evaluation to ensure the correct diagnosis. Treatment options will be discussed and you will be involved in the decision-making and treatment planning of your own care. The risks, benefits, alternatives, and side effects of all medications will be discussed.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approaches include but are not limited to, therapeutic communication and the use of open-ended questions to encourage you to share your concerns. We will work as a team to find the most appropriate treatment options for your symptoms.
