What does a first session with you look like?
As a Latinx therapist, I am committed to provide the BIPOC community with a safe and culturally inclusive space for reflection and processing of trauma, change, and loss. I utilize a trauma focused lens in therapy to help others identify and implement positive coping skills to navigate through life’s ebbs and flows.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I don't believe in a cookie cutter treatment modality, and instead adjust the tools to each client's specific needs and goals. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and (TF-CBT)and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My goal is to help each client identify and build on their existing strengths and skills.
