What does a first session with you look like?
I believe healing is a self-motivated ongoing process of learning, growth, and self-discovery. In my practice, I?�?ve heard incredible stories of triumph and failure. One thing that I find in common is that humans are resilient in nature no matter how adverse the circumstances are. Our ability to relieve suffering is largely determined by our honesty, open-mindedness and willingness to move forward. Success is found in many forms and I will be honored to assist in your journey ahead.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I specialize in working with people who experience anxiety and depression, challenges in stress management, cross-cultural adaptation, grief and loss, self-growth, life transitions, and chronic illness. I am also a LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician. In the process of building this therapeutic alliance, we will work on developing individualized treatment goals and interventions using a variety of evidence-based psychotherapeutic modalities.
