What does a first session with you look like?
Together we will set goals. At each session you will share with me your progress or lack there of... We will then measure your progress and adjust your goal (if necessary). Some or all the sessions you may share your issues in your life. We will discuss current issues and how they might relate to the past. Suggestions on ways to approach your problems may be made. We will work together to improve the areas in your life you feel need to change. You may expect to take away a feeling of professionalism and caring. Not to mention valuable insights and ideas on how to change.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as simple Behavioral Therapy. These tools help you decide where the problems are and ways to address them. I also use visualization which assists you in making needed changes.
