I will educate them on psychotropic medication benefits and side effects to ensure clients control their mental health. They will have ease of mind knowing that the medication going into their body is safe and tailored to each of them to ensure their well-being.

As a PMHNP-BC, I utilize client-centered mental health treatment, medication management, and lifestyle changes as critical interventions in coping with mental illness. I conduct interview sessions, use past medical and psychiatric history, and assess the client's mental state. Based on the assessment, I work with the client to formulate a treatment plan, lifestyle change, and medication management. For medication-resistant clients, I also help them refer to special treatment facilities with state-of-the-art Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Esketamine (SPRAVATO®) specialties.
