What does a first session with you look like?
Clients can expect to gain insight into the therapeutic process during our first session while learning more about me as a therapist and themselves as a client. Once history has been gathered and goals established, clients can expect to move forward a pace that works for them and their current situations. They will find a supportive and encouraging helping professional who listens well and assists them in achieving the quality of life they are seeking.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize an eclectic blend of treatment methods and tools that have their foundation on person centered approaches. I firmly believe the therapeutic relationship is the most effective tool. I am well versed in CBT, REBT, trauma informed and forward therapies, DBT, existentialism, and person centered approaches. I easily adapt to the level of directiveness that a client needs/wants from their therapeutic experience.
