What does a first session with you look like?
Therapy is about connecting with another person in such a way that you feel understood and valued, while trusting that your best interest is being served. There are many different ways to achieve this goal. My approach centers on working with people to understand their unique values and beliefs, which ultimately guides their experiences, and developing goals and strategies together to work toward their desired outcome.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use components of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and family systems theory to create an experience tailored to individual needs.
