What does a first session with you look like?
I have a warm and easy-going personality that creates a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and engaging environment where clients of multiple cultures can feel safe and be heard. I empower my clients to lead their path of treatment goals and discover their unused resources and strengths.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I integrate strengths-based, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approaches with an individualized combination of therapeutic styles including, CBT, talk therapy, and mindfulness in your treatment. I am also trained in EMDR for crisis events and first responders.
