What does a first session with you look like?

I believe that all clients deserve to feel safe, heard, and understood by their therapists. Therefore, I am proud of my ability to provide a warm, safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and genuine therapeutic space for clients to heal and grow. I will meet you where you're at and work with you at your pace. And, when you're ready, I will challenge and empower you to implement positive changes to effectively manage your emotions and stressors, improve the way you feel about yourself, enhance your relationships, strengthen your resilience, and find balance and peace in your life.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

My approach to therapy is eclectic, holistic, and client-centered. I love working collaboratively with clients, sharing helpful information and resources, and utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
