What is your style/approach to therapy?
I believe healing happens when we feel truly seen and accepted as our authentic selves. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences without judgment. Grounded in an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens, I consider how relationships, culture, and lived experiences shape the way we move through the world. When we feel stuck, revisiting past experiences with curiosity and compassion can help process emotions and create space for new possibilities. I also integrate mind-body awareness, supporting clients in deepening self-understanding, releasing what no longer serves them, and cultivating a greater sense of peace and self-acceptance.

I believe empathy and compassion are the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship. When we approach challenges with understanding rather than judgment or blame, we create space for healing and growth. Feeling truly seen and accepted can help you build self-compassion and a deeper sense of self-acceptance, which are essential for healing.
