What does a first session with you look like?

What is your style/approach to therapy?
My motto: “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it.”I operate using a person-centric approach. It's really all about you and your experience. My preferred therapeutic process and techniques are rooted in both psychodynamic and cognitive/behavioral models. However, I am fully aware that there is no one size fits all approach in counseling, and I will willingly utilize an eclectic style to meet my client’s needs. I work with clients to bring meaning and understanding to how their thoughts, beliefs and life experiences impact their actions and related outcomes.
