What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Jeff Hill is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Missouri who has been practicing since 2010. He has a PMHNP post-graduate certificate from University of Missouri, an MSN and certification as a family nurse practitioner from Westminster College, a BSN from the University of Utah, and an ADN from Salt Lake Community College. As a PMHNP, Jeff helps his clients by providing mental health assessments, creating treatment plans, prescribing medication, and offering therapy sessions. However, he uniquely offers his commitment to shared decision-making and patient-centered care. Jeff values his clients' individual needs, interests, and preferences, and never holds their identity against them. He listens actively to clients and offers empathy to help them feel heard and understood. By incorporating these values into his practice, Jeff works to create a safe and welcoming environment for his clients to work towards their mental health goals. Outside of work, Jeff thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family. Catching up with them is often the highlight of the day.
