What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. My main role as a therapist is to provide a safe, validating environment to explore goals and learn skills to reach those goals.

Victoria utilizes many different techniques to assist clients in reaching their goals. These include mindfulness-based, solutions-focused (SFT), and skill-oriented treatments thatconsider client strengths and the impact of past experiences on how individuals see the world.Shehas a passion for helping people learn the skills they need to lead fulfilled, successful lives. Victoria believes you havethe right to define what success means to you and deserve access to the help we all occasionallyneed to reach our goals.
