What does a first session with you look like?
In our initial session I will dialogue to gain a good understanding of the issue(s) you are having difficulty with. I will be ask for information about yourself, your living situation, and other relevant questions to assist me in gaining a clear picture of stated problem areas and specific therapeutic methods to resolve these problems . We will work together to implement a plan toward improvement. Most issues take more than one 60 minuet session to see lasting results.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Treatment methods I use are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, and Task Centered Therapy.
