Wendy W. Coates is a licensed marriage and family therapist who graduated from the University of California, Irvine, and the University of San Francisco. Following her relocation to Northern Virginia in 2005, she began directing and facilitating the Domestic Violence Intervention Program for Loudoun County. Wendy specializes in working with couples and adult individuals. She is an active member of the Virginia Batterer Intervention Program Certification Board and the Loudoun County Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART). She is the author of several treatment workbooks, including: Mindful Workbook for Women, Emotionally Intelligent Anger Management, and EMAP: Emotionally Intelligent Mindful Acceptance-Based Program.
