What does a first session with you look like?

Often, there are things that you don't see and may be impacting your life and your relationships. I point these out to you, to help you gain insight and understanding of yourself and how past experiences may have shaped you so that you can begin to make changes in your life.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I utilize Emotion Focused Therapy which helps you gain an understanding of your emotions and empathy for yourself. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which consists of understanding the relationship between our thoughts, our emotions and our responses. I also provide Person-Centered Therapy to help you decide the best decisions for your life.
