Work HistoryI have a background in case management and counseling in the recovery and substance misuse field with specialty knowledge in opioids. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals that have been victims of crime and have experienced trauma. I have also, along with Caroline Broughton, BSc, worked on the development of the Realistic Expectations, PLLC’s ASIDE (Asexuality-Spectrum Identity Development and Education) group along with other asexuality and ace specific educational materials and presentations for both clinicians and folks in general wanting to learn more about asexuality and challenge prevailing ideas around sexuality, dysfunction, love, and identity. I have had the privilege, in working with Realistic Expectations, PLLC, to learn about the polyamourous and CNM communities and how to best support these families without judgment. Additionally, I have a kink and BDSM friendly perspective with my work. With a holistic perspective and an eclectic approach, I hope to be a resource for the community.
