What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I often utilize a combination of therapies to best suit my clients. I like to incorporate a combination of theories, therapeutic modalities, and treatment interventions while providing therapy.
What are some the unique issues faced by clients in your particular field of specialization, in terms of mental health education, care, and/or treatment?
I have found that many individuals have difficulty with assessing, asserting, and respecting their own individual boundaries. This can lead to additional issues and often affect multiple areas of one's life..
What does a first session with you look like?
During the initial session, I like to get to know my client and for them to get to know me. The first session often incorporates talking about life history, discussing the reason's one sought out therapy, and defining one's goals for therapy.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8+ yrs of experience at the Masterʼs Level; under the supervision of a Psychiatrist. I have experience with all populations including working directly with sex workers, persons with HIV/ AIDS, all persons affected by substance use, abuse, and addiction (including pregnant women and new mothers), and persons in the criminal justice system for offenses ranging from traffic citations and misdemeanors to capital and first degree felonies.
