In the landscape of COVID-19, this has brought on an increase in therapy sessions taking place in the telehealth format. I believe that while this has been a challenging transition at times, it has also created an opportunity to make therapy more accessible for more individuals. Within these changes, my specializations have been able to narrow as I have found interest in assisting individuals with processing major life transitions and changes. Life is full of changes, but this does not mean we have to approach these on our own.

Everything You Need You Have: How to be at Home in Yourself by Gerard Kite This book helped me look at the highs and lows of daily life in a different way and how this does not need to fully interrupt our lives. I love the idea of being at "home" within ourselves because at the end of the day, we are all looking for a safe place to land. This safe place exists within all of us.

I believe deciding to seek therapy and make the first appointment requires a huge amount of bravery. I emphasize this during the first session to assist you in seeing how much strength you already possess for making this first step. Knowing where to begin during therapy can sometimes feel like an impossible task. During our first session, we will spend this time getting to know each other at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Being vulnerable and sharing yourself with another human being can be a scary feeling, so I am here with you every step of the way.
