Get To Know Me
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
My own experience with trauma, and the therapy it took to heal from it, has given me a unique understanding of what it's like to sit on the other side of the therapy room. I know firsthand how hard it is to open up to someone, to be vulnerable, and to do the work of changing long-held patterns. That experience has deepened my compassion for my clients, because I don't just understand healing intellectually — I've lived it. When you sit across from me, you're working with someone who genuinely understands how much courage it takes to show up and do this work.

Work HistoryMy path to becoming a therapist grew out of a deep desire to help people heal and live fuller lives. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working alongside people in many different settings and stages of their journey — from residential programs and addiction recovery homes, to working with families in their own homes, to supporting students in school settings.
Each of these experiences shaped the way I work today. My time in residential and addiction recovery settings taught me how to sit with people during some of their hardest moments, and helped me understand the patience and compassion that real healing requires. Working in homes gave me a front-row seat to how family dynamics, environment, and daily life all play a role in someone's wellbeing. And working in schools showed me how early experiences and relationships shape who we become.
Together, these experiences gave me a well-rounded understanding of how to meet people where they are — whatever that looks like for you.
