Work History
Both personal and professional experiences have shaped my journey to you. I have been working professionally in the field for over 5 years. My professional experiences include; in-home behavior therapy and school social work in a specialized program with children on the autism spectrum, private practice addressing chronic physical conditions and mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, addiction, obsessive and repetitive behaviors, PTSD, and trauma). I believe the personal is just as impactful (if not more) to my approach to our therapeutic relationship. I come from an environment that was greatly affected by chronic mental health concerns, poverty, and addiction. Without access to quality mental health care, these issues were unable to be addressed. These life experiences have shaped my understanding of mental health and the importance of quality and consistent care.
