What does a first session with you look like?
Our first session will consist of data collection and rapport-building. It is important to me to start where my clients are, so I allow for them to choose the direction of our work together. You are the expert in your life, and I am just here to help you find your own solutions.
What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?
I believe that the therapeutic process cannot begin without mutual trust and respect. I also understand how difficult it can be to talk to someone about your problems. That is why it is important to me to create a safe and comfortable space for each of my clients, so that they may become vulnerable on their own terms.
