Our family of origin and intergenerational pattern of behavior has such a resounding impact in our lives. With every person I meet, I continually come across the impact of origin of family issues that affect how we parent, relate to others, and view life and circumstances. By exploring the family we come from and how we functioned as a family, we can gain valuable insight to why we do the things we do and why we relate to others in a certain way. In our sessions, we will explore and learn about your family of origin and how that plays out in your relationships, beliefs, and life choices.
My career started with working at an emergency shelter for abused women and children and I grew to love working especially with women and children of various backgrounds. Through my own growth and experience as a woman, a foreigner, and a mother, I learned that everyone's experience is unique and in their own right. There is no box that I can put a client in to do the same work for each person. And so I come with open ears and heart and learn from my clients about what they need and what they want to share.

I have been working with children, adolescents, and families since 2009. Much of my work has been at school based settings where I provided therapy for students and families struggling with academic, behavioral, and social challenges. I have also worked in clinic and office settings with adults with life transition issues, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and family of origin issues.
