I utilize Strengths-Based, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy platforms that focuses on specific goals and behavioral patterns to treat the client's mental health concerns. I motivate my clients to "Live with Clarity.Purpose.Intention" as they learn how to cope more effectively with life's challenges. I have a passion for helping individuals recognize their purpose and their need to create intentional change.
My life philosophy speaks to keeping open and honest communication in my personal & professional relationships to develop better bonds. My treatment philosophy mirrors this sentiment as I encourage my clients to "communicate for understanding and not to respond". This is a skill I especially educate my couples on to build a relationship standing on respect, honor and integrity creating a more effective union.
My sessions are designed to offer a space where clients feel safe to express their vulnerabilities in a judgment-free zone. I begin with the sessions being person-centered, focusing on the client's strengths, and setting goals to direct the path of healing. At the end of each session, we recap the therapeutic discussion and the client leaves with a "Healing Work" assignment helping them to progress towards their stated goals.
