Work History

I started my professional therapy practice in North Texas, after completing my graduate education in Family Therapy at Texas Woman's University. My practicum experience was working with sexual abuse survivors at the Children's Advocacy Center of Denton County. In the early days of practice, I focused my work with children, adolescents and their families. I worked closely with the Court System, conducting Adoptive Home Studies, Collaborative Law services for high conflict divorcing parents, and Court-ordered Anger Management therapy. These days, I focus my work with adult individuals and couples who struggle with anxiety, difficult life transitions, self-esteem, trauma, relationship distress (including infidelity, communication difficulties, and divorce contemplation). I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering 100% telehealth services via video and phone sessions with people residing in the State of Illinois.
