I believe that my personality influences my approach to therapy by being down to earth, open minded, and easily adaptable to various environments which have allowed me the opportunity of working with a diverse population.
My personal experiences have influenced my work with clients as I am able to understand that we all face struggles and heartache in different ways. I do not come from a wealthy background and there were many times that I had to be my own cheerleader in order to be where I am today. I recognize the issues that a single parent household may face as well as the challenges that come from parenting and simply day to day life stressors.
There is an art to therapy and when you allow yourself the opportunity to be open to it, you realize it is a beautiful journey.
